What’s the difference between Hyaluronic Acid Lip Infusion,

Hyaluronic acid lip infusion, dermal fillers, and botox are all often used in the same breath when discussing lip and cheek augmentation, as well as the reduction of fine lines. However, the three are all unique in their ability to create glowing, younger-looking skin.

Hyaluronic Acid Lip Infusion is a needleless lip filler process that infuses hyaluronic acid serum into the skin through a pressurized device, which then enters the top layers of the skin. Dermal Fillers

Perfect for the eyebrow with medium to sparse hair. This is a more traditional method of cosmetic tattooing. The pigment lasts longer when applied in this manner as it is deeper in the skin. This procedure involves me using a tattoo machine, gradually building up color and defining the natural shape by layering in thousands of tiny dots. This technique follows the desired shape to give the appearance of made-up eyebrows. This process is done in 2 sessions 6- 8 weeks apart.

This is not what you're thinking; this is a beautiful, soft treatment that enhances the natural borders of your natural lip and gives you a soft "blushing" to your lip. This treatment does not replace the need for lipstick

Cavitation is a non-invasive fat reduction treatment that uses ultrasound technology to reduce fat cells in targeted parts of the body. Ultrasonic cavitation procedures and noninvasive machines target specific body areas with low-frequency sound waves. This process heats and vibrates the layer of fat cells below the skin's surface. It’s important to tell your provider about any underlying medical conditions you have before getting HA fillers, or Lip Blushing. This procedure may not be appropriate if you:

Have a history of blood-clotting issues
Are diabetic
Are pregnant
Have autoimmune diseases
Have vascular complications
Have infections
Have heart or kidney disease
Have a soy allergy Smoke
have diabetes
Currently, take immunosuppressive medications
Are going through an active Oral Herpes Infection
Are pregnant or nursing
If you have a history of cold sores, or HSV outbreak you will need to medicated with a RETROVIRAL medication such as Acyclovir or Valacyclovir five days prior to your procedure and five day after to prevent any outbreaks.

Common side effects for Lip Fillers

temporary redness or purplish tone, and swelling of the lips
mild bruising and bleeding around the injection sites
temporary bumps or lumps that may arise around the injection sites

Any temporary pain or swelling usually goes away within 1 to 2 days after your procedure.

Uncommon side effects that should be seen by a doctor

You should report the following but potentially serious side effects of HA injections to your doctor right away:

blisters around the lips
numbness or bluish coloring of the lips
severe swelling that won’t go away
vision changes
symptoms of an infection, like increased swelling, pigment changes, and drainage

MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Call 911 and go to the nearest emergency room if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction, including:

swelling
hives
difficulty breathing

Uncommon side effects for Lipo Dissolve that should be seen by a doctor

Lipo-dissolve is not recommended for patients who:

Are diabetic
Are pregnant
Have autoimmune diseases
Have vascular complications
Have infections
Have heart or kidney disease
Have a soy allergy

Lipo-dissolve has some side effects that subside within ten days or so. If they become excessively uncomfortable, you should consult a doctor.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY LIP BLUSHING, FILLERS, and BROWS SESSION?

Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E, niacin, or drink excessive alcohol at least 48 hours prior to and after your procedure.
Do not take any prescription blood thinners at least 48 hours prior to and after your procedure.
Discontinue any vitamin A skin care products (Retin-A, retinols) close to the enhancement area at least two weeks prior to your procedure. **I recommend NOT using these products over or around the tattooed area after you receive your cosmetic tattoo. It could cause fading and distortion of color.**
Discontinue use of AHA (chemical exfoliation) skin care products close to the area to be tattooed at least one week prior to your procedure.
No laser or electrolysis on or around the treatment area one week prior to procedure.
No Botox or fillers in the procedure area less than one week prior.
Plan trips or events a minimum of 14 days after the procedure. Due to unwanted elements Limit the amount of caffeine you consume the morning of your appointment.
Do not have any chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 3-4 weeks before procedure.
If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.
It is highly recommended that you avoid SUN and TANNING BED exposure for 30 days BEFORE and AFTER your procedure. If you show up for your appointment with a new tan or a sunburn, you will need to reschedule and will forfeit your booking fee. As your skin exfoliates from a sunburn, it will take the pigment with it.

Plastics, General, GYN, Breast, whether for reconstruction, lift, implants or mastectomy, Trauma, Thoracic, Endocrine, Minor Vascular, Bariatric, Robotics. Before I became an OR nurse, I also specialized in Med-Surg tele. I am also a clinical educator. Enough about me; let us make you look your best every day.
